The Old Station Tea House - Ball Bay

My wife and I stopped for morning tea after hearing great reports from friends. We were not disappointed! There were scones straight from the oven which were to die for . The location surrounds are beautiful. Would recommend to anyone but be aware everything is made on the premises and you may find things take just a little longer than at a fast food restaurant. Certainly worth waiting for as long as it takes.

Today we popped in on our way home from Camping at Cape Hillsborough. We honestly have never had better brownie scones and my goodness the meringue cake was out of this world. I will be back very soon. I highly recommend visiting, the Property has an old relaxing feeling, there’s plenty of space and places to enjoying a meal. Definitely a beautiful place to get married or special occasions after seeing what the ladies set up today . Thank you so much for this experience.

What an amazing place! My little boys and I stumbled upon the Tea Rooms today and were completely mesmerised! Amazing food, simple and locally grown. Fantastic, warm and welcoming staff. We particularly loved meeting Michelle, the owner, and seeing the wild birds she is nursing back to health and wandering around her amazing gardens.

What a beautiful place to visit! Great coffee, cake to die for, resident cat to pat, birds being cared for and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

I recommend The Old Station Tea House not just for the food and coffee but the service! The staff went above and beyond to secure some children's panadol from Seaforth shop for my 2 year old son. It saved my morning out with my family. Beautiful place to relax and enjoy
