This man is definitely a chef, as it is evident in the flavors and preparation of the pies and pastries I have tried so far. Each one highlights the main ingredient without overpowering the meat. Today I tried a venison pie, and from a culinary standpoint, it was fantastic. The unique game flavor of the meat was front and center. While it was a bit too strong for my taste, I can appreciate that it was exactly as it should be. A few months ago, I tried a mustard-flavored pork pie that was delicate and truly one of the best pies I have ever had. The meat and vegetable pastries are also excellent. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a gourmet savory pastry experience.

Amazing pastries. I have never had better! The pies are also excellent. Made with real meat. I make sure to stop by for a pastry or a pie every time I visit Ballarat. I never miss it!

This bakery is run by the most dedicated owner you'll ever meet. The pastries are delicious and you definitely won't regret trying them.

Great pastries but the bagels are my absolute jam. Love them hot out of the oven!!
