Wayward Southern Kitchen - Baltimore

Awesome awesome awesome place. Outstanding service and delicious food. Music playing at a reasonable level where you can hear the excellent bartender who brought us menus and water. Their “happy hour” was a great deal and had everything from domestic bottles to sick cocktails. Their fries were crispy and drizzled with a ranch sauce to die for. Would never return anything or ask for a refund. Come one, come all. Best bar in Baltimore. Bailey is also cool.

Wayward is the place to be any day of the week!! Super fun music and dancing all weekend long, great drink deals and amazing food. The staff has great energy and always knows how to have a good time. One of the managers, Berkeley, served us last weekend and made our experience 10x better. Super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. We will be back every weekend!!!

This bar is good but the bartender Berkeley makes it great. She’s 5 stars just like this bar. The lower part of my left leg was amputated from a car accident when I was young. I’ve been self conscious about my leg nub since that horrible day. However, Berkeley made me feel so special about it. She made some great suggestions like “But think about all the money you save when you buy socks! It’s basically a 2 for 1 special with every purchase”. By the end of the night I felt so comfortable with Berkeley that I showed her my leg nub. She took out her marker and drew a little shark face on it. I now fear no man. My shark nub is ready to take over life. Thank you for the confidence booster Berkeley!

Visited last Friday night (11/11) I have never been so DISRESPECTED by a bartender (white, short dark hair in pigtails, over 30 it appeared) the way I was at Wayward. After I was ignored for close to 20 minutes (along with other people of color at the bar) , I was finally able to order a simple drink. Then, she charged someone else?s drinks to my card and when I tried to correct it, she said in a nasty tone to ?take it up with her manager tomorrow? and that she (plainly)

The Mac and cheese was undercooked. They didn't have black cherries or bitters for an old fashion. The burger was nice. If you have a business please make sure you stock your bar appropriately.
