I had the lamb burger with capern and cheese in it, and my friend had the salmon with basilikum, hazelnuts and red paprika. and they have a great selection of beating, including a local favorite 'old hooky'. if I could give it more staring, I would. great pub, even better people. all at a good price!
Had a lovely meal outside in the spacious garden. She is celliac but every meal is gluten free by default. I had a steak and chips which was excellent and a pint of Hooky. The Landlady was extremely helpful and very friendly. Can't wait to return.
Lovely place with great staff, nice menu (several vegetarian options) and good prices! We really enjoyed our meal in the garden. Would definitely come back.
Massive Sunday roast dinner! But you can order a half portion. Friendly staff. Clean.
We stopped by during the Horton Open Garden Day, not expecting to get a table since we hadn't made a reservation, but to our surprise, we were seated! The Sunday dinner was absolutely exquisite, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. We dined indoors, but the outdoor area looked lovely too, featuring a heated teepee tent and a bar, all with a stunning view of the magnificent ironstone church. It was such a delightful experience!
