Malay Kitchen - Bandon

Having lived in Australia for years I ate Malaysian food very regularly. Laksa is traditionally made with rice noodles, prawns, chicken, tofu puffs and fish balls, it's a balance of sweet, sour and spicy. The laksa I got was definitely not even close! Noodles were wheat and came separate and fried, there was no mixed meat, no tofu and barely any soup/ curry. The sauce was pale and flavourless and the veg was basically all cabbage. So disappointing. My boyfriend got the beef panang which was great though and we ordered some cheesecake pots which were amazing highly recommend the black forest gateau and the hazelnut

After having lived in Australia for years, I ate Malaysian eating very regularly. laksa is traditionally made with rice noodles, garnel,huh, tofu buffers and fishballs, it is a balance of sweet, sour and spicy. the laksa I got was not even close! noodles were weeping and came separated and fried, there was no mixed meat, no tofu and hardly suppe/ curry. the sauce was pale and tasteless, and the veg was all cauliflower. so disappointing. my friend got the beef pair that was great although and we ordered some cheesecake pots that surprisingly highly recommend the black forest gateau and the hazelnuts

Finally I was introduced to the beautiful malay: the offers for a meal for 5e before 5pm are wonderful and always with vegan options is the best ever! we all have them and sat in the park, it went very well and we loved the sweet potato donuts: great idea! my friend treated me to a piece of their delicious cake (vegan friendly to woohooo and it was amazing, could;t believe how affordable it was. cork vegans and veggies plan to meet here next week as we have clearly disappeared! Many thanks for making delicious vegan options, we really appreciate all their efforts <3 keep them the great work!

Amazing eating, fabulous vegan / vegetarian options. really friendly staff too. will definitely be back and forth.

I regularly come here for lunch. Great guys stunning food, highly recommend! The Nasi Goreng is to die for :P
