That was a strange dinner. We have booked a 3-course menu with the hotel reservation. Dinner at 7:30. We had a mushroom flatbread and poutine as appetizers. The waitress warned us that they were not appetizer size, but we had prepaid for dinner so that we ordered two independently. the poutine was excellent. The flat bread wasn't great, I threw the rest out. At 8:30 the waitress said it was the last call, we had not yet our main thing, so forget to have wine with dinner. We had the tenderoin and the wild boar. The meat on both plates was very good, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Most pages were pretty easy, but okay. The rye/leek bread pudding was not very good, very heavy on the caraway. At 8:53 the music was switched off, we still ate our net. We have a dessert. Looking at the menu before the time, we had planned to order a dessert that had rum pairings. Because the bar is closed early, we didn't.
It was quiet and beautiful. Great service, great hospitality with amazing food!
Wild boar dinner never disappoints...so delicious! I also loved the avocado toast with a poached egg for breakfast! Thank you for two wonderful meals ambience for the two of us to celebrate our 23rd year wedding anniversary
We are so grateful to have the option to dine out with COVID restrictions lasting into February. Our server was fantastic and made the dining experience so memorable. Thank you for your hospitality!
