As you climb to the final step, it's a totally different look and world inside the restaurant. The people working in the restaurant ,other than the kitchen , are the people who actually own the restaurant. It's like a family working to make a restaurant run and doing it so fine.<br/ <br/ AMBIENCE<br/ The interior is extremely beautiful. Frames of Game of thrones characters makes is the best for me, being a fan. Popeye the sailor hinting live saving tubes, welcome aboard sign on sailing wheel, frames of Marlyn Monroe , quirky lines on walls and interestingly done pink brick paint work on walls. The seating is varied, from cushion based chairs to metallic chairs, for big groups to couple seating etc.<br/ They even have board games and other handy small games to try while waiting for your meals to arrive or while munching on them.<br/ Since when we came we didn't see those games, we ordered main course indian dishes and hence couldn't get to try those games. One feedback to mention somewhere or put the games at multiple places for people to notice and not everytime walk to the centre counter which is not visible from the corner table. They even keep novels. A TV set playing latest English songs with music on stereo makes the ambience better.<br/ <br/ FOOD<br/ We wished for papdi chat and misal pav but were told that those weren't available. Hence resorted to veg cutlet which is most amazing cutlet I have ever had, I feel the carrot infusion rendered it some flavor which was unique, a must try. However the green chutney was bit spicy. For the mains , we had kasoori paneer, dal tadka, roti and tawa parantha. Both dishes were good. Paneer item was semi gravy kind and tasty, however low on salt, which wasn't a problem as we requested for salt cellars. The dal was extremely sober and delicious, again low on salt which isint a issue with salt provided. It was great to simply eat the daal and detect all the flavors. Feedback on this front, provide salt cellars on each table, we had to request it and it took a while to reach us.<br/ Roti and tawa parantha were regular and good.<br/ <br/ SERVICE AND COST<br/ All this for just 700. The kitchen service is slow, dishes took a while to reach our tables, but people attending to our tables were attentive and helpful. The place is very affordable and a must visit, specially cz of the homely and cozy feeling this family renders to this place. People sit here with laptops for hours , without being forced to order or else leave. Great place, worth a try.
Nice ambience, homey feel when you enter the restaurant. Really nice decor and totally tge right place if you're looking for less crowded places to eat. Misal Pav was amazing. Kofta curry was also good , overall nice experience.
Pretty little place to hangout at. The GOT wall is the best thing in the cafe. The book collection is very restricted. But the ambience is really cool. Loved the chicken momos and the fresh juices. Amazing place to eat, play games, read, work, and spend time with friends.
Awesome homestyle food what a hidden gem!<br/ <br/ Brilliant ambience.. simple and elegant.<br/ <br/ Definitely going to come here again<br/ <br/ Try the keen and the rotis chicken.<br/ <br/
