Basilico - Bangkok

Thanks to a recommendation I came here several times and each dish was a hit: starter advocado garnelen salat with balsamico mayo. pizza calzone hot inside, not outside of starter tuna carpacio pasta bygole burned with perfect al dente pasta. dessert panacotta he has a limoncello from the house with the expresso despite high wine prices in Thailand, the chianti was quite soft.

Cozy vibes. Good authentic Italian food. There is no contemporary or twist menu. There are many pizza selections and pasta as well. The staff is nice and helpful.

Love the big serving of tiramisu there after tuna steak, ravioli in tomato sauce, and lobster bisque. aroi-dee.

It is a good Italien restaurant with quality ingredients. The Pizza was very good. The dough was fresh and made in a wood fire oven. The salad slightly to oily but still alright. We will come back again when we are too lazy to go to sukhumvit area!

It used to be called Arancini. That’s how long we’ve known it. For many years, it used to be our favourite Italian restaurant here in Bangkok. Now the food is hit and miss. One time the pizza is great, the next time it isn’t. The pasta dishes have generally been nice. Never had any of the pricy items on the menu (and never will). Update: the last 2 visits, the food was barely average. Such a shame.
