59 Cottage - Bar Harbor

I have had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant today. I have never experienced food so delicious that I wanted to lick my plate before.

We brought my parents to dine at this restaurant while they were in town. We had glanced at the menu outside, unsure if we should go in, when Monica came out and greeted us. We were surprised to learn that this was their new business venture, recalling how hard they had worked at previous establishments we had encountered. We decided to give it a try and we were pleased that we did! From burgers to chowder to reuben sandwiches to lobster rolls, and especially the sweet potatoes, everything was delicious. We returned for lunch with my parents and had another great experience. The salad and buffalo chicken bites were excellent, as were the sweet potato fries. Can you tell I love their sweet potato fries? We will definitely continue to support this place. The atmosphere is beautiful, away from the bustling crowd and not too loud.
