Taxman Brewing Co - Bargersville

The blonde ale at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic! I wish I could give it six stars. I will definitely be returning to sample the other flavors.

The menu confirmed my suspicions of overpricing, with items like a $22 Wagyu burger and a $17 grilled cheese. Our server took a while to come to our table, citing issues with the point-of-sale pad. My companion ordered fried green tomatoes and a Brussels sprout salad for $12 each, while I opted for the chicken and waffles for $24 to avoid paying $15 for five chicken wings. We also shared a side of Belgian frites. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive, all at once and crowding our small table. The frites were barely warm, the chicken was overcooked, and the waffle had a strange consistency. Our bill came to just under $87 with drinks, tipping it over $100. As we were leaving, I questioned why we were seated upstairs next to a family, to which the host simply responded that it was the server's turn. Disappointed, we decided it would be our first and last visit to Taxman.

A big shoutout to Kailey for providing excellent service during our recent visit to the restaurant! Despite a busy night and a sudden storm, she took the time to ensure we had a great experience without any rush. My fiancé and dad enjoyed the summer beers with Coconut and Key Lime flavors, while I tried the Invester, which was perfect for me. The wings and buffalo chicken dip were both delicious appetizers, with the wings having a sweet dry rub and the dip lacking the usual oily layer. My dad loved the mussels, and I couldn't resist dipping my fries in the broth. While my smash burger was good, my fiancé couldn't stop raving about his wagyu burger, leaving me a bit envious! The atmosphere was pleasant and didn't take away from the food or conversation. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant as a great spot to meet up with friends for a high-quality, relaxed meal. Kudos to the team!

Beers are fresh, food is delicious and atmosphere is spot on. Staff/service is friendly too!

Food never disappoints. Great selection of home craft brews. Service better than most these days!
