Gov't Taco - Baron Rouge

This was my first visit, and we were there for lunch. The food is ok. I won't go out of my way again to go there.

The tacos from here are magnificent. Also, there's a lot of puns on the menu, so bonus points there!

The tacos were delicious! However I did think they were a little small!

I’m not gonna lie I maybe should have looked at the place before going for the first time but dude take the good things about a Mexican restaurant throw it away, and boom you got this place. Like atmosphere is nice… but like who doesn’t put salt on the tortilla chips!?! It definitely has semi decent food but like this place is the embodiment of the “white people taco night” song

“There’s something they’re not telling us”… the food is sub-par. So, I heard they were “hit and miss”… today they were “a swing a miss”. I will say that the exception were the cocktails… they were spot on (thus the two stars). We ordered tacos and Street corn. We both had the “Filibuster” turned out to be true to its name… all talk and no substance. Actually barely edible. The tortillas were very tough, meat not well seasoned, lukewarm and tough. The street corn had more mayonnaise than season … – show
