Louie's Cafe - Baron Rouge

This restaurant is just okay. When we first walked in, we found the floors to be very slippery and the table sticky. When our food came out, we were dissatisfied to find that the grits lacked flavor. The coffee was splendid but the whole restaurant itself is definitely overhyped.

Today was our first visit. We're from Texas and were looking for a breakfast place. We were greeted warmly and our waitress, Maddie, was very pleasant. The food was good and hearty. We definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area!

A suitable location for a weekday breakfast visit. The food and service were of decent quality, with an ambiance reminiscent of the TV show Happy Days. Recommendation likely.

Great food, a little slow but attentive service. Slightly expensive for what you get but you won’t leave hungry!
