My Wife and I went for Breakfast with our Daughter. It was the first time we had been there but our Daughter said what a great place it was. I was expecting a small cafe, a couple of tables and just take out but was very surprised. We arrived at around 8:30am on a Saturday, it was not too busy which was nice, the waitress came to us straight away with menus and took our order for drinks, we informed the waitress that we were waiting for two more people, and she did not bother us again until they arrived. We placed our orders, and by this time the place had started to fill up but we were not left waiting long for our food. The Western omelette was great. it had ham onions and peppers, there is a section where you can 'make your own omelette" by choosing what fillings you would like. There is a bagel with meal order but an extra charge of 0.79 for certain bagels eg: Twister, Cheese. Most of the omelette meals are $11.49 the one with Smoked Salmon is an extra $0.50. Monday to Friday they do a Breakfast special for $4.99. There are also pastries and bagels which can be brought to take home and they sell a bag of day old's for $2:00. If you go in on your Birthday you can buy six bagels and get six bagels free.In my opinion Bagel World is well worth the visit, it is situated not far from the 400 hwy so is convenient for people travelling. The place was very clean including the toilets.
Stopped in here prior to picking up some fish at Big Al's next door. We didnt realize it was here but stopped in as we were both hungry. I had a philly cheese steak sandwich and wow..it was absolutely awesome.Definitely recommend. The fries have an extra 'coating' on them and they are very crispy. My wife had an everything bagel with spinach cream cheese; also awesome. They also sell baked goods; I had a napoleon custard type cake to bring home and my wife had a poppy seed pastry. Both great! The coffee was piping hot and the owner..she was very friendly.Definitely be back! thanks!!
Visited over the weekend. Very busy. Seemed the one lady (not sure if owner) ran the show while other waitresses were chatting around. Food was good. Hit or miss on a return.
Another reviewer mentioned it was a "hidden gem" and I couldn't agree more! For the first while, I thought it was just a bakery to buy bulk bagels. One day, I decided to check it out and was surprised to find that there was an actual sit down restaurant! They make some of the best and unique bagels I've ever seen!Definitely worth a try!
