Cravin the Flavin is a classic very small mom & pop takeout eatery, with a somewhat limited but distinctly bargain priced Caribbean menu. The curry rotis are really very good… potato, channa, chicken, beef ranging in price from $6 to $7.95. Curried goat roti available week-ends only $9.50 Barbecued short ribs also a week-end only special $10.95. Lunch Special (11:00 am – 3:00 pm) is choice of BBQ chicken or Jerk Chicken or Super Chicken Wings served with yellow rice and a small potato salad $6.95. Outside lunch hours the same meal is priced at $9.95 with a large potato salad. (The wings are delicious… oven baked, meat falling off the bones, spicy without burning the taste buds.) Three sandwiches… Jerk Pork, Steak, Veal… fully loaded with a wide variety of add-ons $7.95 Last but not least, I have really enjoyed the very good Jerk Pork with yellow rice $7.95 For the younger set, a very affordable Kid’s Meal… BBQ chicken wings served with yellow rice, small potato salad and a juice box $5.95. Inside seating is limited to three small stools at a very narrow wall-counter. The Trinidad born owner/operators are very friendly and helpful. NOTE: Because this really is a “mom & pop” operations, personal family emergencies and/or extreme weather can occasionally result in a variance in operating hours; but they are very good at communicating these on their Facebook website so always a good idea to call ahead and/or use the link in the TripAdvisor listing before embarking on a major detour to visit the establishment.

Awesome authentic chicken roti! I can hardly wait to go back and try jerk chicken. Lunch specials are only $5.75. Great prices and great authentic...
