Gastronomia Peppino - Basel

The new ambiente is authentic (some bright light,) the map was typical. was like holiday, dreaming! the service was very courteous, including amuse bouche and offering dessertli. open wine for the price (6th / glass) really good. the portions are large and it is really well cooked. would have wished me an offer of seasonal vegetables, then it would have earned 5 points!

Homemade Italian cuisine, simple, good and cheap. the chef peppino is super on it also extra wish are no problem at all. family celebrations can be organized in the soääli. kitchen as with mama. just great.

I've always been to the peppino for lunch and never been disappointed. the portions are relativ large and are always freshly prepared. over the midday there are always 3-4 different menus including an salad as an appetizer. the restaurant is simply kept with the equipment relatiw, but there is proper italian feeling. I will definitely recommend this locally.

Coming here isn't your big night out. Coming is being guest at peppino's with homemade pasta, the lasagne's my favourite, and just the little old man serving. Living nearby, I like to come for a casual dinner when not pressed for time as you need to know: the waiter is also the cook and is always running around. Always great. Always yummy!
