Beacon Public House

Given its good reviews I was expecting good things at this pub, but it was dissappointing. The staff were friendly and reasonably attentive, but the food was distinctly average not bad enough to complain, but not good enough to inspire a return visit. The dining area is separate from the bar area and has no atmosphere. Although the tables were clean there was dropped food on the carpet I appreciate that when busy, staff don't always have time to clean properly, but when things quieten down they should be able to catchup.

Another banging Sunday roast in The Beacon. Great value for money and great service in this lovely friendly pub. I visit regularly with my wife and mother in law and we are never disappointed. Highly recommend .

Spacious inside with booths for privacy. Large beer gardens. We had a delicious meal and dessert with a drink for under £20. The service was really efficient and friendly. The meals were served quickly and presented really nicely. Really impressed and will definitely return! All dietary requirements catered for. Highly recommended.

Great little boozer. Staff are always friendly and helpful, there is always a friendly face to talk to. The food is always well cooked and delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a visit
