We chose to visit on our anniversary arriving at about 6:30 pm. The weather had been in triple digits that day and quite frankly, the dining room was quite warm and we were sweating. Perhaps they could have turned the a/c on earlier? The building and dining room were cozy and nice. We ordered our steaks, a NY Strip and a Bacon Wrapped Filet, which came with mashed potatoes and uncut green beans. We noted that a salad was not included. The steaks arrived and were done as we had ordered them. They were juicy and could be cut with a dinner knife. I'm not so sure a fork would have cut them, but they were tender. The green beans were good and the mashed potatoes were also very good. As we were finishing our dinner, we began to feel some cool air finally. We finished off our meal with a chocolate lava cake topped with vanilla bean ice cream and drizzled with milk and white chocolate. They left off of the whipped cream that was described on the menu. Our server was courteous and very attentive and we truly enjoyed him. Overall, with the heat, the pricing and the lack of salad with dinner and whipped cream with dessert, I have given it a 3 out of 5. The steaks, though juicy and tender, were not fork tender and couldn't make up for the other areas.
Hasler Brothers is an awesome, family-run steakhouse.
