Panera Bread - Battle Creek

Terrible customer service. a frontera chicken sandwich ordered during a trip. Once we opened the sandwich, we discovered that it is a grilled cheese for children. they called the load; they had just closed. they said they couldn't afford a refund. we were offered a voucher for a menu item we did not want. contacted management, which came back to us later days and gave us only the opportunity to make a refund (for our online order, for which we had provided an order number) was that we came back with the entry into this load. explains that we have lived hundreds of miles away. no more answer from panera, if they had seen my order history, they would have seen that I was a more frequent buyer who had never complained before. a simple refund would have taken care of it (or even a charge loan or voucher for the originally ordered sandwich). I am deeply frustrated and will go somewhere else eating forward.

Prices have gone way up. I paid $10 for a loaf of country bread. It was good, but way too expensive. It was also slow in the sandwich side. Took a long time to get our order.

Huge shout out to JoshWhile delivering for doordash, the left front tire of my car locked up next to Panera (Battle Creek). I went inside and called AAA for a tow and then settled down to wait. Of course I had skipped breakfast because I was out delivering other people's breakfast. I ordered a sandwich and a drink. Josh was the cashier. He could tell I was stressed and he asked me, so I filled him in on some of it. He repeated expressed his remorse for a situation was mine – hot his. After I finished eating and while waiting for tow truck, he even walked over and asked if I needed anything. Again, showing care and concern for my well being. A stranger he did not know. Just another person passing thru a very business store. Josh is a credit to the brand, the store and to Battle Creek in general.

The WORST Panera I've ever been to. If your looking to wait over an hour just to get your food cold and done wrong, then this is the place to go. Not one time have I had a halfway decent experience with this location.

The person at the cashier this evening was very nice and friendly. He made me want to come back to Panera Bread in Battle Creek more often. Food is also good. I also like the mango yuzu tea a lot.
