Probably a nice place to sit and have a beer and the young lad serving today was polite and helpful enough. Unfortunately the filet steak sandwich and kids fish finger meal I ordered for me and my boy was practically inedible. The fish fingers and chips were deep fried in what tasted like months old oil, I should have know the moment we walked in as that’s what the place smelled like. The fish smelled old, the bread was cold and stale, and smothered in a syrupy onion caramel. We didn’t finish the food and left to find a banana at sainsburies for the little one. I walked away feeling like vomiting, so no additional food required for me. So sorry to give such an appalling review, I hate doing it, and I did let the young chap know on our way out, but sometimes we need to let people know, and it’s important that management correct these issues.
