We had a reservation for 5 January 15/2023 6p.m. When we arrived, we waited at least 10 minutes for 2 tables in dinning rooms. Our waitress brought us water and took our drinks order, took a while because she was the bartender. 3 of us ordered Prime Rib, in any case was reheated and parts were really small. The other 2 people ordered the pepper corn steak that was cooked over. All the vegetables on all plates were close to raw and hard to eat. The potatoes were also heated again! My husband and I went there a month ago and had the main rib and it was great and big portion. So enthusiastic to take our family for a birthday dinner and we are very disappointed. We didn't complain, but never get back!!
Warm and cold! Let's go somewhere else and eat Tim Horton's street. Extremely disappointed
My wife and I were at Ramada, from which the Beacon Harbour Restaurant belongs. From the front you wouldn't think much of it, but once you see your back, that's what it does. The food in the restaurant is top-notch... the staff is very friendly and the view from the deck or dining room via the marina and Lake Ontario is spetaclar. Since our first stay here a few years ago we have returned at least once a year. Only a heads up the hotel is not the scorching and has to be updated. However, the beds are comfortable and they keep it clean and tidy. If you are looking for a relaxing little vacation would highly recommend that you book a few days or so here.
Our experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. The waitress couldn't find the ingredients to make a drink on the menu and had to admit it to us. There was no chicken available for a meal selection, and my 90-year-old father's prime rib was tough and inedible. The hamburger was dry, the cauliflower bites were cold and soggy. We had to leave without eating our meals and go to another restaurant because nothing was satisfactory, leaving a hungry senior with nothing decent to eat.
