Went to try out Baron's Peking duck. It was okay. Duck was rather fatty, skin was not separated from the meat, and the wraps were very doughy like they were not cooked thru. The wagyu beef was tough and chewy which is surprising since its supposed to be tender and the custard buns were gritty like they used too much charcoal. Service was good, staff was friendly, attentive and professional. The mabo tofu and golden pea vines were good. Not sure if we'll go again.
Be sure to order the signature duck and extra pancakes. It wasn’t a full house on a Sunday evening, with plenty of distancing between tables. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. The waiting servers can speak Chinese and English.
Held a company lunch for 7 in the main dining area. Service was fantastic, noise level was pretty quiet so we could hear each other. Food was delicious! It's family-style dining, or at least that's how we did it, and some dishes had not quite enough for all 7 of us so we found ourselves splitting bites in half sometimes. To make up for this I ended up ordering more dishes. Would have been just right for 5 hungry people to do family style. If you have a bigger group plan to order quite a few dishes. Overall we loved our time together!
Nothing worthy of mention; food, service, ambiance... Everything felt correct alveit impersonal. A bit on the heavy side with sauces. We were a bit disappointed that despite the heavy promotion in OpenTable, they didn't honor the Seattle Restaurant Week and gave there weirdest excuses about miscommunication and not knowing about it.
