I have been there three time already! It is not cheap but still pretty affordable.I especially liked all the creativity in the different use of fruits, veggies and roots.Healthy but fun.Sometimes can be very crowded so the serving can be slow.
Besides living in New York City, I have a home in Black Rock, CT which is the home of one of the most famous vegetarian restaurants: Bloodroot. I have also eaten at Chez Panisse in Berkeley and a number of others throughout the world. I have to say that Coco y Chia was an absolute delight...you have to order the Blue Corn Tortillas stuffed with sweet potatoes, purslane and squash blossoms. Not only was it delicious but visually stunning...so much so that I took before and after (completely empty plate) pictures and posted them on my facebook page. I will absolutely go back to try some of their other breakfast or lunch specials.
