Meridiano Kursaal Bern

You decided to have a course menu, but the Chef sent different creations including a couvert like a dream. The food is completely autoral, creative and delicious.Art Deco in the room,Meridiano is a place to eat very good, little and pay a lot.The atmosphere is also very good the service first class you can also have a drink outside with certainly one of the mos beautiful view of Bern Alps etc.

For me the best Restaurant in Bern to eat. The dishes are balanced in perfect way like i have not taste often. I am really sad that they close now the dors at the end of the year. A star at the gastronomic sky of bern less. Wish the great team all the best and looking forward to see you soon some were else! Great job!

The casino which houses this restaurant is more of a convention centre with large spaces for meetings and exhibitions and the restaurant is tucked away above this. They have a nice terrace with a beautiful view of the old city the decor is simple and clean. We went for the lunch menu with wine for two which came to a little over a hundred francs which is exceptional value for money in Switzerland even without a Michelin star. Service was excellent. Highly attentive staff. Our starter was an egg with truffle and potato mousse. Meant to be cooked a low temp but could’ve been cooked just a tiny bit longer. Then there was a meatloaf which was very good. A little heavy for lunch but thankfully the portions were small. We had a lovely chocolate desert to share which included a fruit sorbet. And some complimentary petit fours. Overall a good and extremely well priced lunch with a great view.

For me to eat the best restaurant in Bern. The dishes are perfectly balanced as I do not taste often. I'm really sad they're closing the Dors at the end of the year. A star in the gastronomic heaven less torn. Wish the great team all the best and happy to see you soon were some more! Great job!
