Sadly, today was not a good day at Rock Creek. I come into this place often because I love the coffee. Unfortunately there is one employee who, no matter how friendly I am to her she is usually cold and quite the opposite. I never let it get to me, buttoday she had been smiling at the customer before me and turned toward her usual disdainful face when I approached the counter.When asked if I 'd like anything else I said, It would be nice if you continued to smile. In my mind, I was thinking howenjoyable it was to see her that way. Instead of feeling good about it she shot me down with, I don 't smile on demand. Andwalked away as if I had just hit her over the head with a stone and commanded she do as I say. I spoke to the managerimmediately and was given the excuse of how busy it was that morning and that I needed to be more understanding of her rudeness.No apology. No concern for me as a customer or the fact that I 'm a kind person, and was being kind in asking to see the joy onthis usually unhappy face.

Everything was simply *chefs kiss* from our latte?s to the muffins, we were thoroughly impressed! Our barista was very friendly and helpful even though they were very very busy, there?s so much sunshine from the big beautiful windows, the entire experiencewas lovely!

Very cool vibes and good coffee. Outdoor spot was great to soak in good weather.

Tried a Bubbly. The woman had never made one before so I didn't have anything to compare to. Refreshing. No pastries or anything in the cabinet Cute spot. At least the vagrants we're waiting across the street with their hands out instead of atthe door
