If you're in town and looking for some solid German food, whatever you do, don't try and find it here. You'll want to drive about an hour and a half north to Huntsville for the nearest legitimate German food. No eintopf, no spätzle, no currywurst, no sauerbraten, no rouladen, no schnitzel, no kartoffelkloesse, and certainly no knockwurst. First time back since the new owners and it?s still good. Got the veggie corn dogs, pretzels and beer. Everything was good and service was to. Also it?s just a great building to chill in and have some beers even if you don?t want food

Alex was an absolute blast as a beertendress. Fun place for Beer. They have some good beers on tap. We really loved the Bitburger Pils and the Benediktiner Festbier. We had Brat Pups Beer Cheese and the Bratwurst. It's more of a nice snack and beer than a dinner spot, although you could certainly get plenty to eat to hold you over for the night.
