First night the service was very much lacking but last night was very much improved. Price isn't the worst in comparison to another nearby buffet. I may prefer lodge over the rest perhaps.Food: 5/5
Only things good were the coleslaw, fruit desserts. It includes crab legs so at entry you’re given a voucher to get your one pound serving of those. They should offer a lower price for people like me who don’t eat crab legs so don’t need a voucher. The Mexican Italian food was horrible, the bread rolls were dry, soup was bland, prime rib wasn’t too bad but fatty and I couldn’t make a meal out of just that. Not worth the price.
Weekend day trip and price was about $27 ? .Not crowded even at noon and for the price, I still think it was very reasonable. My favorites were the:Fish Cod RibsSausageSweet Sour dish w/veggiesWent for 2nd round that I didn't even have room for the tempting desserts.Service was ?. Staff basically left you alone to enjoy your meal but was readily available if you wanted something.Considering the very reasonable price for the choices, I still believe they deserve a 5-star rating.Tip: Expect more crowds and a wait during peak days/times.__________________Original Review 2019? Lodge Casino's Buffet restaurant. Smaller in size compared to Vegas hotels' buffet restaurants BUT !!! , variety of food is almost at par. Price is sooo reasonable, I think it was $14/person. Mexican, Meat section, Chinese, Italian, Seafood, Salad bar, Fruit and Dessert areas were constantly replenished that everything was almost always fresh and hot. Loved the BBQ ribs, Spicy Fried Chicken, Roast Pork Loin, Spicy Beef, Mac and Cheese and the Boston Blue Fish. And.... those are the only ones I had and there were still a lot more that equally looked appetizing. The area itself is well-lit, clean up is fast that there is never a wait for a table considering they were about 85% full the whole time we were there. Table service is solicitous and prompt without feeling rushed. Visited on a weekday. Will definitely be back for more gastronomic happiness.
My sister had a free buffet so that's where we ended up for lunch. While we were dining and just about to enjoy desert, the waiter informed us they were closing soon. So we had to dine and dash.Food: 5/5
We have been coming here when restaurants were beginning again after covid. This place has taken a turn for the worst. The salmon, way over cooked, tough. The boxed mashed potatoes were not properly measured, they were like rocks. The watermelon was over ripe. The only good food was bacon was crisp. So, a lot of money for gas station type food. It's more expensive and food isn't near what it used to be.
