The first time that oysters are served properly, and wow they are wonderful. I ordered 3 oysters for £4.99 with a wedge lemon. huge and fleshy oysters I doubt can be improved. by too funnygirls now I am refreshed
Roberts has been since 19. Century there, can remember that my parents made me there in the late 1950s for delicious seafood. The elegant indoor oyster rooms are now away, but still a very good place for fresh oysters and assorted seafood.
I’ve had 9 oysters for £15. The oysters were decent, however there were flies everywhere and it’s a bit gross. Come if you have a strong stomach.
I didn't get ill after eating the raw oysters, which was the main thing I was hoping for. They seemed fresh, too. The seafood is served in a fairly simple, traditional way, which fits the heritage aspect of the place but might be disappointing if you prefer more spicy options.
