Log'n Hearth Dining - Blind Bay

The Log n Hearth has okay food. The decor is "rustic cozy" and it is suitable for family events. Easy to get to from the highway.

New management, food is very good, service was friendly and not intrusive. A pleasant place to spend a late afternoon or evening with friends

Food is OK, not exceptional. Need good chef that is consistent. Had a good New Year's Eve dinner here. Buffet had a good selection.

Our organization held a small meeting with guest speaker here and it was quite perfect for up to 50 people. They supplied very nice muffins, cheeses, scones and fruit platters as well as coffee, tea, water and juice. A nice fire in the fireplace made things very comfortable. There is a nice view over the golf course although that was out of season.Staff seemed to be attentive to restocking the buffet.At the end of our session, lunch menus were provided and several people had a very nice soup.

My girlfriend and I ate here mid October and I guess we paid for a view of the golf course. The burger was ok the fries way over seasoned. The problem we had was that the steak sandwich my girlfriend ordered medium rare came out at best blue rare. It was lukewarm on the outside and raw In the middle. We sent it back and two minutes later the steak reappeared only to be charred and dried on the outside but still remained raw in the middle. Disgusted we opted to avoid the steak all together split the burger club a baby seal and call er a day. Avoid this place where 10000$ memberships should allow the owners to afford a cook that knows the difference between incompetence and medium rare...
