East Forty Brewing - Blue Springs

3 of us visited on Friday. we all had tasting flights. the rooms are warm and welcoming. we sat on the terrace as they had a musician on the inside, who is too loud to make a conversation. they have a good selection of beers that were all very good to excellent. some of the best in the KC area imho. they also badly have a nice selection of cocktails with local spirits and wine as well as many non-alcoholic decisions. (coffee, kombucha, etc.) the pizzas looked good, but we had no hunger at that time. bottom line, we really enjoyed our trip here and will return. the only negatiw is that they are too far away from me.

As not ipa trinker it is always a welcome surprise to find a brewery that is missing in ipa. each has its own taste, so do not put ipa’s, but it is nice to see a good selection of aromen instead of 6 8 different ipa, neipa, pa, etc. we tried eight different (2 flights) beer that they had on the hook and were very happy with four of them and happy with the other four. that was a victory! my favs were fools rush in (an imperial stout) and farmers milkshake almond bark (a golden ale with mandelnots.) the facility is well furnished with many interior and exterior seats. they also had a nice selection of flaked scales for the friedrinkers.

Be cautious with the bar pricing. I went during happy hour and ordered drinks, but instead of the happy hour price of $3 for a 1 oz pour, I was charged $5 for a 1.5 oz pour. I was informed that it's the customer's responsibility to specify the order clearly. The food wasn't great, either. This was my first visit, and we won't be returning.

East Fortification Brewery was an excellent choice for my family dinner. We enjoyed playing skeeball, darts, and golf while listening to live music. The food was amazing, and I can't say enough good things about the beer selection. Even though some of us had to head home, we had a fantastic time. It's been a while since I was last in Blue Springs, but I will definitely return on my next visit. Highly recommended!

It was our first time back in quite a while. We enjoyed it! The servers were very personable and attentive. We enjoyed trying a few different beers. The pizza we had was well made and quite tasty. We will be back again!
