The View Restaurant Bar - Boalsburg

We visited the east brunch yesterday. eating was okay. nothing special, certainly for $29/ person I expected a lot more. a large open, loud conference room is not helpful to enjoy their family meal. the salatbar was beautiful, the obstsalat was unfortunately bad, all the fruits were hard and not ripe. the dessert table had 6 repeated options on a huge table. they were probably cut earlier when some were dry. the rest of the food was fair, a little good-average. next year we will definitely go elsewhere, not repeatable. I was looking forward to a much better experience.

They love the redesign that was done. the salmon was delicious and my man likes his burger. pleasant surprise with live music. excellent views. can not wait to use the deck when it heats up.

Service was excellent. eating was very good. restaurant in the look more like an dinner, probably nice when they use the outside kitchen. very loud, but in the round only one person in the bar area open for the restaurant. probably a club member who asked the necessity to drop the F bomb every 5 minutes, with not one of the employees asked him to a little respect for the rest of the restaurant clients.

The service was good and the food was good. in the Spartan and temporarily appearing dining room there is no view. the lounge appeared much more beautiful with windows, etc. the noise level in the lounge was however always so much larger than in the dining room. I think calling the dining room is a serious mistake. the wyndham develops the hotel, so perhaps the dining room is temporary and at some point in the near future will add a much need to the state college dining scene. if that is so, it might be advisable to say that the change of the diners comes.

This was a very tired restaurant. It was more of an upscale diner. I thought that, it being within a country club, it would be nicer. The menu was lackluster, offering the same type of food I could get in a diner, and the service was pleasant yet consuming as we were the only customer at 7pm on a Saturday evening. I do not recommend for the food, as it was plain and uninspired, nor for the ambiance,
