Tootie Pie Co. Boerne-main Street

This was the most disrespectful experience after 10 years of shopping in TX. On 10/12/23 at 4 pm, I went to pick up a couple of 4" pies. The sales clerk was extremely rude. There were only a few pies in the display case. I inquired about small pies in the back and she rudely asked me to specify the size - 4", 8", or 12"? I said 4". She proceeded to list off the pies available in the back. I asked about buttermilk pie and she mentioned they were reserved for the southern sampler. When I asked about the pie slices in the case, I was met with more rudeness. When I inquired about a specific slice being coconut, she curtly replied, "NO, it's cheesecake." When I tried to make small talk about Costco selling some of their pies online, she dismissed it, saying that was not her concern, that was Dripping Springs. There was no greeting, no ask about my day, no offer of help. I will not be returning to that store again. It's unfortunate because Tooties Pies are delicious. Instead of supporting a local small business, I will now be ordering my Tooties Pies online through Costco.

I have always wanted to try this place and so happy I finally get to mark it off my list! The man in the front was super sweet and helped me pick a pie. They have so many pies to choose from and there's so many places to sit! I chose the chocolate pie and was delicious! It was about $5 for the mini's! I honestly demolished and the pie crust was nice and flaky! It smelled so delicious inside and I didn't want to leave! I will definitely stop by again to try more flavors in the future!
