Why does the one with the best location and most restaurants Vibe serve such mediocre food? Rio Rico reminds me of a Laguna Beach Night Club. Enter the floor level, go stairs for some fun and great food and what you get is far from it.
I love rio rico for his ambience and friendly staff. The food is also delicious! This is the perfect short-stay restaurant right in our backyards!
Rio Rico is from 1. June 2008 under new ownership/management and the change will feel immediately as soon as you go through the door. Friendly smiling faces and attentive service – a welcome change.! The bar selections have greatly improved with MANY more tequila and special drink options; the award-winning margarittas are absolutely phenominal! The menu has not changed much, but expect some changes shortly after Jackie Pierson, owner. On Friday and Saturday evening they serve old-world-handed tortillas – what a treat!
I really enjoy the grilled chicken Tacos at rio rico. prices are decent, there is NIE waiting for place. My only complaint is that they don't always get your order right – sometimes the tacos will come with cabbage (instead of salad) or some kind of white cheese (instead of their usual cheddar).... the tacos taste super, no-the-less.
