Homewood Suites Shreveport Bossier City

These staff here are horrible. I asked them a couple times to clean our room and they NEVER came we stayed 5 days. We started using grocery bags as garbage bags to dump out our garbage. Had to go to front desk and keep asking for towels. The 4th floor has a leak in ceiling and they have 2 buckets and the huge laundry bin in center of hallway that looks very unsafe and hazardous for anyone with children. Donna is very rude and nasty. Asked her if they had any pepto for sale. She never gives me any eye contact starts drinking her cup and says no and never turns her head to give me any contact. Remind you I said hello good morning before asking her. She didn’t want to speak because and says “morn-in” and rolls her. She clearly hates her job and disgusting. There’s another one that’s a cleaning lady and she was smacking her gum and rolling her eyes. She has fingerwaves and hair really short. They obviously have issues. We had no idea they had a restaurant or anything. Our room wasn’t ready by 3. We had to wait until they cleaned a room and we drove 12 hours to get there. Disgusting miserable employees. Lost power in our room after Stove popped and that was NEVER fixed. We were in town for my sister serving 30years in Airforce. This is embarrassing that black staff act like this to their own people. I hope they see this review and get therapy because they were disgustingly rude. My 1st time in Louisiana and my last at this. I’m not even done. I’m contacting the board. I barely ever complain but this horrible stay I’m going to the top.

Stayed one night with a family of 5. Very nice rooms, clean, and great value for the price that includes breakfast! Worked out in fitness room well equipped, good variety of equipment and free weights. LOVE that they have Peloton bikes! Highly recommend.

Just FYI, I checked into Hilton Homewood Suites Bossier, LA on 5/12/24 due to no hot water at a different Hilton location and was never greeted as a Diamond member, did not feel very welcomed. I was informed they were fully booked, and this was the only available room. Upon arriving to the 4th floor (room was located), I noticed a foul odor in the hallway and a busted ceiling with a yellow mop bucket to catch the leaking water (see pictures). Went to room and the foul odor was more intense, not sure if this odor was a healthy situation for me. Unable to stay due to current health and requested a different room at Hilton Garden Inn, same location.

5 stars for the room, facility, and service We stayed in a suite for 2 nights. Our room appeared to have been recently updated and was very nice. I would like to know the airfreshner or scent that was in the room when we first arrived. This is the first time we've had a room with the bedroom to close off. This is very nice when you're sleeping, especially if you have pets. The entire suite was hard surfaced floor. This was very nice. Not sure if all the remodels are this way or just the first floor pet friendly rooms. The entire staff was friendly and helpful.

Our go hotel for weekend trips to Shreveport Bossier area. Great people location and customer service.
