Harpoon Brewery - Boston

Absolute MUST SEE brewery. We took the $5 taste tour with Tom and it was such a great experience.. He's super friendly, funny and just an overall good dude! Everyone that works here is great, I really had nothing bad to say. Next time we visit Boston we will come back because of the great time we had.

One of the best old-school Boston Craft breweries, and still employee owned. Their collective brands (Clown Shoes and several smaller) offer a wide variety of beer at the beer half. Unique, signature pretzels are a chunk. And the gift shop has a full array of clothes, souvenirs, and to-go beer.

Beer fantastic but service was grumpy and unfriendly. Also closes far too early killing the vibe. Wouldn't come back despite the tasty beer :

We’ve loved visiting Harpoon. It’s the main brewery that we take friends and family to when they come up to Boston. Love the sours (peach kettle and Harpoon Cider, and family has really enjoyed the Rec League. We also are big fans of the warm pretzels with spicy mustard and garlic butter. The ambiance is great and the servers are very nice (also always seems like they’re well staffed we’ve been on weeknights, weekends, daytime, evening… . Overall favorite in Boston for an anytime stop. They also have a nice little spot for games outside in the summer.
