I'm not even sure why we decided to have Japanese food in Paris. Well... we ordered some tempura and it looked like they were over fried, but they certainly did not come out as the golden fried tempura usually does. It could also be the oil was too old and had to be changed. The sauce for the tempura was the wrong sauce. They gave us Katsu sauce. The soy sauce was like a sweet Teriyaki. It was also very expensive. For my son and I came to almost $100. I feel bad hitting her so bad, but I'm just honest. If I could see this review before I left, I wouldn't waste all the money.
Just stopped drinking beer from this restaurant with a small appetizer because I already had great dinner. After looking at the menu, I decided to have a few beers because appetizers were not attractive. So if I just ordered a beer... I was told I couldn't order beer or just drink. So I asked her why not, and she asked in Chinese another waitress if I could only order beer (drinks). Another waitress came to me and asked if you would drink big or small beer? . I didn't know why she asked this question, but she finally brought me a beer what I ordered and put the beer bottle on the table, it was almost hit with beer bottle. I was asked to pay only with cash because the amount was below 15 euros, which I don't understand. Overall, I recommend this Japanese restaurant operated by Chinese, unless you want to make bad memories in Paris.
We took twice out of this restaurant while we stayed at Marriott Courtyard Boulogne-Billancourt and the food was excellent. They give you a lot of food for the price. We had B2 from the menu that were kabobs with rice, Elan soup and salad....We ordered leaving and ate in our unit at the hotel. The restaurant is also very nice, but we had so decided for the takeout all day!
We came here late and found this restaurant right at the hotel. We were greeted by a smiling girl who found us a table and brought the menus immediately. She was very helpful in choosing food for us, and when we ordered the food came almost immediately. Both soup, sushi and meat tasted really good. Would definitely recommend if you want Japanese food.
My wife opted for this restaurant on a day when we were dead tired, as this was really a stone throw away from our hotel (Courtyard Marriott). Generally the stereotype was Japanese food is not preferred by Indians, but the food at this place completely...changed our opinion. We loved the Tempura (Batter fried prawns, mushrooms, courgettes), Shake Teriyaki (Fried Salmon), 5 Brochettes (assortment of barbecued meat), Tepan Yaki (Beef and Onion sizzler). Each of these dishes are accompanied by a Miso soup (so refreshing), cold sweet and sour cabbage salad and a bowl of hot sticky rice. You can ask them for a knife and fork as they usually provide chopsticks. If you wish to eat Tempura, then try to go early as this runs out quickly because this is a very popular dish. At the end of the meal (this is my favourite part) they provide a mildly perfumed warm towel (which is a delight on a cold evening). Just avoid sushi and sashimi (for those who do not like raw fish and meat), and your Japanese dinner experience would be great.
