Lighthouse Restaurant - BOWSER

The ambiance of the restaurant is lovely, the food was enjoyable, and the presentation was top-notch. However, the server's attitude was off-putting as she behaved as if she was doing us a favor by taking our order. Furthermore, when she got our order wrong, she placed the blame on us and still expected a tip.

An unexpected gem. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be returning. They also have a nice outdoor patio in the back.

If you are a tourist or a local or one of the old hands, this island event will take place only 12 times a year on the second Sunday every month. It's a bit like the old church dinners moved to breakfast. The lighthouse...in Bowser is where it is held (after the highway sign on 19A. Sunny side up or easy over along with a side of bacon served with a pancake is what you get and it is as good as the volunteer group whose fundraising this weekend. It's simple and simple. Why bother cooking breakfast when there's a lighthouse on the corner? This charming little restaurant made us feel right at home and served up a delicious breakfast that set us up for a great day ahead. We will definitely be returning.
