The Coffee club. Calamvale Central.<br/ Thought I'd grab a nice dine in breakfast before work, as i had 2 hours to utilise.<br/ Ordered my usual vegetable flat grill with sweet potato fries, herbal chai with soy milk. The food and drink came out together and were at the same high level one would usually expect from such a large franchise. The service was fine too.<br/ Thanks very much. SARDS.<br/
After the bad experience from my first review, I have not been back to this Coffee Club for three a half years. Well, it should be the time to give it another go; so went for brekkie yesterday. It seems to be a default order to have a gourmet hot dog as the same as recent visits to its siblings at the Garden City and DFO. <br/ Well, it is nice to say that the service and the food have been improved a lot. The standard of food production is kept consistent with respect to the other two that I had been tried. Overall, it was not a bad experience this time. <br/ Rating 3.5/5 <br/ <br/ Sep 17, 2015 Rating 2.5/5 <br/ Walked in this coffee club for light breakfast and it was 7:35am on my mobile phone. The cafe was fully opened but the barista starred at me while she was watching at her watch. She looked at me without smiling and told me that they had not opened yet (according to her time). It was ok so I stood outside the cafe and waited for another 10 minutes before I approached her again. After a robotic service, I had my disappointed breakfast including tasteless coffee and dried ham and pineapple on a toasted ciabatta with chips. Well, another bad experience from Coffee Club.
The Sunnybank Hills branch of The Coffee Club is quite nice. Service most of the time is fast but there coffees are on the lukewarm side. I order the tomato, ham and cheese toasted sandwich with chips, and I have to say it was just what I needed.
A few days ago we went to this Coffee Club at the Calamvale shopping centre for a late breakfast. The cafe is very small but they've stretched it as far as possible in length and extended to little area outside. It has the same layout and colour scheme as all Coffee Clubs and has the warm and welcoming scent of hot drinks and breakfast foods.<br/ <br/ I ordered a pot of tea and the Eggs Benedict with mushrooms and spinach. It was a short wait considering the amount of people ordering and I was served a delicious plateful of food. I enjoyed my breakfast and it was hugely filling. Though it is expensive at the Coffee Club I do always leave happy and with a full stomach.
