Sultan Balti House - Bracknell Forest

I think it's great. Really not sure why the ratings are so low. Very tasty food and reasonably priced. Also it's BYOB, which is a good cost saver.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The pickles were too watery, the chicken Jeera was dry and bland, and the Sag Aloo was also lacking in flavor. This was probably one of the worst Indian meals I have ever had.

Lived in Bracknell since 1998 and can't remember when we first went there, but could be nearly 25 years ago. Over that time we have ordered at least 10 20 times each year. This is a common order when we have guests, both foreign and domestic. I have also traveled the world, even Leicester, Birmingham, and India itself. I can confidently say their Jalfrezi is mine and my daughters favorite. I read the other reviews, and they do have some good points, as I do not like the look of the mild dishes (korma, butter chicken, massala) they look like kids finger paint. The delivery is a bit long, but we have gotten used to it, and if we need it quicker we can pick it up in 20 mins. For those that complain about the chips, cant help you I would go to chippy (or McD) for those anyway. The pilau rice has gone through phases when they put in too much food colouring, but it always tasted good. It was back to a more natural look this weekend.

This curry takeaway is our favorite spot in the neighborhood. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is excellent. With the exception of one time, our orders have always arrived promptly and hot. My wife is Bangladeshi and this is her favorite curry place, which speaks volumes about the food. We have tried other curry restaurants and takeaways, but none have topped Sultan in terms of both price and taste. We will definitely be returning customers.
