Monte has now transformed into the Liberty Tavern. With new management and a fresh look, it still retains its welcoming atmosphere. The menu is largely similar, but they’ve introduced some exciting new items. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Looking for some seriously spicy wings? This is the place to be. While the menu may not offer a wide variety, everything they do serve is exceptional. Their hot wings are among the hottest you'll find in the southern region, featuring a blend of Habanero, Ghost, and Scorpion purees. They use actual paprika instead of just a concentrate, allowing the flavor of the peppers to shine through along with the heat, rather than just overwhelming spiciness. I also tried a slice of pizza that paired perfectly with the wings and was fantastic as well. The bartender was friendly and provided great recommendations. Overall, it's a wonderful little spot!

The building may be old, but the food and the welcoming atmosphere are truly exceptional. They offer daily specials every day of the week, which keep regular customers coming back for more. I’ve never had a bad meal there. Plus, there’s a fun culinary challenge for those brave enough to tackle the monster burger!

Some of the best fryer food in town and always friendly. “Montes Hot” sauce is not to be taken lightly...oh yeah tough guy? Do it. Let’s see it. Ask for it by name. They will warn you as well...

Very comfortable local joint with fresh food and fantastic service. Monte takes care of each of the tables personally. The cheeseburger was high quality and worth having again. Prices were downright cheap.
