Brewers Fayre Dalesway - Bradford

Came for a Sunday carvery, the gammon and turkey were great the beef was a little dry, the Yorkies were ok all the veg were standard carvery. But overall was a nice dinner.

Absolutely disgusted. Children refused entry to the play area for being too tall (at the ripe old age of 8) and would have been OK if the lady working in there was even remotely polite. We were with 2 disabled children and a toddler as well as 3 other kids (which naturally meant a little bit of chaos). When the youngest ran off a little eager into the play area, we were shouted at and told to get him under control. I have never been spoken to in such a way by a member of staff anywhere let alone a place that is child friendly . This place ia a disgrace to the Brewers Fayre name.

We went for a birthday meal for 2 boys, we was given a table next to the toilets so people always passing by. They kept bringing the wrong food to our table and was confused when we told them that it wasn't for our table. After over an hour our correct food came and all the burgers were cold with a burnt bun. Food looked nothing like on the menu. I had to go to the bar and ask for a receipt to make sure we wasn't being charged for other people's orders. Over all the staff tried their best and re assured they had sorted everything out but still continued to bring things to our table what we didn't order. We had to ask for completely everything from the staff as there was nothing on the table provided. Everything took too long but is understandable as the place was busy but we was waiting a while. Had a cold atmosphere not very homely and very noisy due to table being next to the play area. Last of all when we arrived, there was people already sat at our table which we had reserved before hand for an exact time. Anyone can go if they like but I definitely don't recommend :

Food was a bit mushy. Very generous with the meat. Wheelchair access. Friendly staff. But ended up not eating as I found an hair in the mash potatoes. So needless to say made me feel sick. They did give the money back for my meal. I won't be going again as the hair put me off. But besides that all is really good there.

Previously I rated it lower due to food and staffing issues, they have since had a menu change and more staff seem to be working there. Went a couple of times in the last few weeks and the food has been lovely and the staff have been great. There isn't a huge list of things they don't have either anymore which is great. I love this place I've been going here since I was young and I'm glad to see it's doing better recently :
