Baxter's Grill - Brainerd

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, plated nicely, had tasty vegetables served with it, and had excellent portion sizes (picture posted with review). They had excellent desserts, I had the chocolate torte which had a nice rich flavor, my father had the custard truffle which also had a nice flavor and came with plenty of delicious fresh fruits. Restaurant was clean, and was not very busy when I visited. The online menu on google did not match the in restaurant menu, however, so I ended up getting the rosemary porterhouse pork chop.

We were staying near this restaurant and having difficulty finding a place to eat on a Friday night without reservations or long waits. I'm so glad we found Baxter's Grill Bar as both the food and service were good. We only had a salad and pizza, but it's worth noting the pizza was VERY good, tasted like it was made in a brick-fired oven, and had just the right amount of all ingredients. We have 16 people over for Christmas this week. We needed a break from cooking every meal and this was perfect. Amazing food and Food Dudes was prompt with delivery. Thank you so much to the staff at Baxter's Bar and Grill for working the day after Christmas and getting us a ton of great tasting food!

It was okay. Food was awesome! I don't know what was going on, but there were two servers standing around doing little or nothing. The bartender was doing all/ most of the work. And it was she who sat us and had to ask for a server for us. Next time, we'll sit at the bar to eat.

Oh my? the food service was great AND the KEY LIME PIE BEER WAS INCREDIBLE!!!
