What's even better is that The Works donates a dollar from each sale of this burger to charity. The combination of sautéed mushrooms, brie, mayo, and bacon is simply delicious. Additionally, the restaurant has a lovely patio located in Garden Square.
I absolutely adore the burgers at this restaurant. They are truly amazing. However, my only complaint about this place is the wait time. Whenever I meet up with friends here during my one-hour lunch break, it takes quite a while to receive my food after placing my order. I'm not sure if there is a solution to speeding up the service, especially when the restaurant isn't very busy. Nevertheless, if you have some time to spare and aren't in a rush, I recommend hanging out here and indulging in the best burger that downtown Brampton has to offer.
We went for lunch on a Saturday. The menu was extensive with plenty of options. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to find many choices available to me. I particularly enjoyed the hot as hell sauce with the fries.
A great spot when you are craving comfort food from the burger family. You can also find healthy menu items. There are so many options from which to choose. The poutine was the best my grandson has ever had, it came with swirls of sour...cream in addition to all the tasty other components. Tower of rings was very crunchy on the outside and two sauces for dipping. The juicy Lucy burger was everything it was supposed to be. Servings are generous. The grilled chicken on a multigrain bun was delicious as was the side of bright green steamed broccoli. Service was cheerful and attentive. We scored a table on the patio that still had some shade. A really fun place to grab a bite to eat.
Went on a Sunday morning right at opening at I was the only customer there. Ordered a Works Caesar drink and a Taste of Heaven hamburger with side of salad. Server was courteous. Took about minutes to get my food and minutes...to get my drink. Caesar drink was just vodka and clamato juice with a slice of lime. Menu and website states that this drink comes garnished with cheese and pepperoni (specialty drink). Had to wait minutes after getting drink for server to come to my table with food. I let him know that the menu states that their Works Caesar is supposed to come with cheese and pepperoni on it as a garnish. He stated that The Works stopped serving that long time ago and that he could try to find me a pickle or olive for my drink. I asked why the drink is on their menu and website as a specialty drink. He stated that things are messed up. He went away and never got anything else for the drink. First impression is that this follows other reviews of inattention to details from this chain. When the food came minutes later, it was not as stated on the menu. The Two slices of thick maple bacon were so thin and small and the equivalent of the bacon strips you get at Wendy's or Mcdonalds. The other toppings on the burger were good arugula, onions, sauce and special bun. The size of the burger was quite small not oz as on the menu but perhaps that size, but it was cooked perfectly at medium well rather than well done. For for a burger and side, you could eat at a high end restaurant with double the size and much better quality. The Caesar drink was nothing special at close to I would never return to this restaurant chain again as it is severely overpriced. I am assuming the customers are there to pay for all of the steel and wood design of the restaurant and not for an ongoing restaurant experience that other chains can easily attain with more reasonable prices.
