How do you even find this place? Website says 58 king George rd that’s the comfort in and symposium
First off, I'll say it's cheap. You get what you pay for. Unfortunately, what you get tastes like freezer burned perogies from the grocery store covered in the cheapest gravy they can find. What they use for curds is some sort of mozzarella, the taste of which is completely overpowered by the salt on the fries. While cheap, the portions are smaller than you'd expect even at that price, and the taste is so middling you might as well make some instant perogies or a microwave poutine at home. If you're looking for something in this wheelhouse, just go to Admirals. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$30–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
I actually ordered delivery, so I can't comment on anything but the food. Everything outside of the food went smoothly. I ordered the Korean BBQ Perogies. Now the only real complaint I do have is the dish is more like honey garlic chicken Perogies. Now that being said, it was a pleasant surprise once we got over Korean BBQ\HG Chicken interpretation. It was 2 orders for myself and a buddy, we both were 100% surprised and satisfied, The veggies that came with the order and chicken, were cooked perfectly. The flavors were a marriage made in heaven (again, outside the Korean BBQ interpretation) but it was filling, and not the kind of filling where you feel like garbage after or want to hit the couch. Honestly, even though I wouldn't necessarily call it Korean BBQ Perogies but I will order it again. You have to appreciate the way something like this misunderstanding or even if you get the wrong order, etc... then it turns out better than what ypu were expecting in the first place. Ordered the Pulled Pork Perogies and Buttered Chicken perogies off uber eats. The Buttered Chicken was more like curry than actual buttered chicken. It wasn't even orange it was a brownish color. The Pulled Pork was ok except the size. The size of both of them was extremely small(6 perogies size). The actual perogies themselves were smaller than frozen perogies you can get from a grocery store. They are $12 each through uber eats and I have attached a picture of the pulled pork one with a fork to show you the size. An extra little tiny cup of sour cream is $2.50 as well. The only reason I ordered this was because I had a 75% off offer and even with that the portion sizes it was too much. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30
