Spice Mango provided our small market town with the first curry house delivery service. The food is pretty good (and I am a harsh critic of curry houses), a wide range of choices, wonderful staff and good value for money; quick too. There is sadly not a 'sit down ' restaurant, but if you want a delivery (although others have obviously follwed their lead) you should give them a go they are good at doing individual things too.
The Salmon Shashlik did not taste like real salmon, it seemed more like Dogfish, also known as "Rock Salmon." The Sag Bhaji and Chic Peas were not very hot or spicy. One of the older ladies working there was quite unfriendly. However, other parts of the meal and the staff were excellent. It seems that more attention to detail is needed as the restaurant was busy but not completely full.
I was very disappointed with my first visit to this restaurant, so I decided to give it another try a few weeks later. Unfortunately, the food was still disappointing, which leads me to believe it must be the same chef preparing the dishes.
The food at this restaurant was terrible - it tasted burnt and lacked any flavor. It was a mistake to even consider ordering from here. The inside of the takeaway was filthy, with dirty walls and floors. The kitchen was even worse, with dirty pans scattered across the floor. Overall, it was a disgusting experience.
