The Trawl - Bridlington

The fish and chips were excellent, and the curry sauce was high quality. We completely forgot to order mushy peas, but we have to say it was one of the best fish and chips we have ever had.

This restaurant in Bridlington cannot be beaten in terms of quality, taste, service, and value for money. The staff at this long-established fish and chip takeaway restaurant really know what they are doing. We have tried many other fish and chip shops in Bridlington, but this place is the top choice. While the portions may not be the largest, the focus here is on quality over quantity. You can expect the most delicious fish and chips you have ever tasted, served with a smile. It's worth noting that the food is cooked to order, not frozen like at some other places.

I arrived at 4:30pm and was surprised to find everything closed. It was strange for a fish and chip shop to only be open from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

We love this chippy. The food is great quality. Really enjoy the special good portion of chips, haddock or cod, a drink and a bread roll £9.50. Great value. Lovely service. Great traditional fish and chip shop. Cash only. Plenty of cash machines nearby.

As others have said the seating area of the cafe is very basic but with friendly staff, good quality food and very reasonable prices this was a great stop for lunch on a grim day in Brid. Luckily we had read other reviews and took cash with us to pay so that wasn’t a problem. Would definitely go back.
