Mad Mex - BRISBANE AIRPORT

A search around Garden City for a quick meal yielded this fast food place.

3 soft tacos ($10.90) and a side order of tortilla chips and queso cheese/nacho cheese ($3).

Mad Mex is otherwise known to me as Guzman's poor cousin.

I've been enjoying these Mexican delights available here for several years now, so I really thought they deserved my positive review to let you know how good fast food actually can be. It's really great! Not too fancy to be too expensive, and not too commercial to have lost touch with the Latino spirit. I love their Grande Melt for an indulgent lunch, but my typical choice is the old favorite - a Polo Burrito with added guacamole! Olé!

Very good . I was at Brisbane Airport dropping off a friend when we spotted Mad Mex after having a typical boring overpriced sandwich elsewhere. I had a large portion of guacamole, nachos, and Negra Model, my favourite Mexican beer. All was perfect and only A$12 or so. It is the best value I had in my month long trip in NZ and Australia. When I flew back to Singapore I had 3 more beers and guacamole after checking in. Absolutely fresh avocados hand made on the spot. My compliments. A pleasure to eat at the airport. Service could be better organised and faster on my second visit.
