You never quite forget them, and it's something you take into adulthood - whether buying for the kids or because you're being a big kid again and grabbing one for yourself. The grown up ones will normally come in those gigantic pitchers that look like something straight out of a movie set in an American diner, and mine was just that. This chocolate milkshake sure was big, and it sure was sweet. It sure wasn't bad, either - but it sure wasn't the best. Still in quest of that perfect chocolate milkshake, but where Iced Chocolates are concerned, if you happen to be in Brisbane Airport, The Spoon on Level 2 and The Botanist on Level 4 do absolute stunners.
Staff are always very friendly here, however, the food and beverages on offer are hugely over priced and of a low quality. The coffee is very hit and miss - although more often than not it is burnt and too hot. I had a takeaway $9.60 cottage pie from here (literally just a pie)... it was soft, dry and very salty. And to top it off they forgot to give me tomato sauce even after I asked several times!!! Definitely won't be returning.
Customer service is bad. Staff don't greet you, smile, or look at you when they give you your order. Very disappointing service. Never coming back.
It was a long waiting time for the food to be delivered but then I had the best omelet ever.
Café Siena doesn't have the luxury of being place in one of the major thoroughfares in Chermside.
