Hanaichi - Brisbane

This restaurant is another example of a great establishment that starts cutting corners once it has built a loyal following. The portion sizes and quality of the food have diminished. It appears they have lost their touch and are now losing even more. As a customer, I am disappointed. They have overestimated their greatness.

This fast food restaurant is located on the lower level food court at Westfield Garden City near 8street. I had a lunch meal of Yakiniku Beef with rice. This is a Japanese style seasoned shredded beef with “Yakiniku sauce” and mixed salad and served on...top of rice. I didn't find this dish so special and in fact thought it was quite average. I would suggest perhaps ordering one of their other options. Price was reasonable with a medium serve costing $9:50 and quite filling.

This Japanese fast food eatery offers great value for your money. Although the menu selection is limited, all dishes are prepared swiftly. The Chicken Curry is a personal favorite of mine, but the Teriyaki is also delicious. They also serve Ramen and Udon noodle dishes. The portion sizes vary and are reasonably priced, making it a great value for a quick meal.

A whole new mall food court fast food experience. I have eaten at this Hanaichi several times recently, trying the various Japanese-type dishes. Everything has been of better quality and more tasty than most would expect in a food court. The portions are filling, and...the service is fast and friendly. And, the value is pretty good.

When travelling to Brisbane I always try to get in at leat one meal from Hanaichi. Realy good food and the price is good too.
