I visited Plum Tucker last Sunday with three family members. We ordered drinks. While we were perusing the menu to decide on food, the chef came out of the kitchen to deliver a meal to a woman at the next table. The chef was wearing...blue denim jeans that were filthy. They weren't dirty from food, they were covered in grease and dirt. It looked like he had been working on a car engine. Clearly hygiene is not a priority. We left when we'd finished our drinks and did not order any food.
This was the worst acai bowl I have ever had. It took minutes to receive my order, even though the restaurant was not busy. The waiter seemed disinterested in his job. I paid for a small container of what tasted like just ice with coconut shavings, a few strawberries, and half a kiwi.
Very enjoyable with family for Fathers Day Good meals I had a zucchini and haulumi stack very tasty. Rest of family had various chips burgers all very good with good service unique little cafe with playroom upstairs including chess
The café was welcoming and spotless, and we received prompt service. I chose the apple waffles, but I probably wouldn't order them again as they were somewhat dry and had more strawberries than apples. However, the mega Bennie or the fritter stack were the way to go - they were enormous, visually appealing, and delicious.
