Soda Shoppe - Brisbane

Such lovely staff they were very welcoming. We will go back definitely.

On Saturday afternoon, while other cafes were closing, the Soda Shoppe was still serving food. The staff were friendly and the food was great. I ordered the 'Pure Bounty' burger, which was vegan and gluten-free and absolutely delicious. It included roasted Kent Pumpkin and Flat Cap Mushroom, both of which can be difficult to cook properly. However, in this burger they were perfect - with a terrific texture and taste. The coffee was good, but I noticed it only had one shot, so I asked for a second shot for an extra boost. The coffee tasted great and was at the perfect temperature. The restaurant has a great location overlooking a lovely park next to the old council chambers. I highly recommend this place for good food and good service.

No matter what you choose to eat at this restaurant, make sure to get a side of fries - they are truly unbeatable. Absolute perfection!

Used to love and frequent this place. New menu excludes some much-loved items and some prices have increased significantly. Ordered a milkshake for $12 (price increase), upon prompt from staff made it a thickshake, then was surprised with $15 total. New thickshake is the same consistency as an original milkshake from here. Disappointed and don't think we'll be back.

I highly recommend the brisket at this restaurant for its great quality.
